Liebe Uhli,
ich habe Ihren Nachruf für Piet entdeckt.
Ich bin Piets Lebensgefährtin. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit miteinander, waren beieinander angekommen, voller Liebe und Vertrauen. Hatten Pläne, wollten noch viele Jahre miteinander verbringen. Leider bliebe uns nur eine kurze Zeit. Aber, Piet war glücklich, sehr glücklich. Er ist einfach friedlich in seinem Bett eingeschlafen, war noch mit seinem Freund zum Essen verabredet, konnte aber nicht mehr kommen.
Piet wird immer in meinem Herzen bleiben. Er ist bei uns allen, die ihn kennenlernen durften. Ich bin besonders glücklich, daß ich ausgesucht war ihn in seinen letzten Monaten glücklich zu machen. Seine Liebe hat auch mich sehr gestärkt.

Dear Lenore, my deepest condolence for your loss. Thanks for your message…. I am grateful to know that you were with Piet in his last days. Yes he will always remain in our heart, the people who have been touched with his kindness.
