Endlich…

Finally my newest baby was just born…. (hush bukan adeknya Alith – Alhamdulillah sudah cukup dua saja kecuali dikasih hehehe)

My newborn is my first online store Toko Kado Anak. For the last few days, the work succeeded to keep me up till 1 am in the morning. It was suppose to be launched on June 1st, thanks to the server blackout I have an excuse to postpone it for a day or two.

Considering the time, energy, emotion etc I spent significantly on this project, I think I have all the right to celebrate this achievement. Well, I am telling you why.

first, making a fully functioning website using wordpress platform is not easy to learn, not to mention  integrating e-commerce i.e. shopping cart etc. I really really had a hard time. Thus – I am thinking that I should write some of the tips and tricks I discover on my journey – might be a good help, but please don’t expect too much. I am a newbie who just happen to have a little knowledge.

second, being a-work-at-home mom aint’ easy. In fact somebody may have told you being a mom is never easy, double the difficulty level when you have to complete a task in between a toddler whining, an alarm to pick up the bigger kid, and a nature call to dreamland.

third, all and all I know that the key is to maintain the balance. I have very limited patience yet I dream a lot. Among the many things that I want, the highest priority is being a good mother. However, motherhood couldn’t fulfill my thirst of achievement so somehow I got to find it somewhere else.

anyway, I made it, and more than just a project accomplished, I am feeling certain that I am on the right track.
